EarlyTerminationFee.me was created to keep the carriers honest, and to uphold their end of the deal. Per the CTIA Consumer Code for Wireless Service (PDF), a carrier must notify you when there are material changes to your terms of service.

Thing is, the carriers usually notify you in the fine print of your wireless bill. Then, they encourage you to sign up for auto-payment services, so you never have the motivation to read your bill. After a couple weeks, you’re locked into those changes. Miss your unlimited, unthrottled data? We do too.

So, we’re here to inform you when your carrier may make changes to your terms of service, allowing you to port your number out without a termination fee. The best way to do this, is to email you when your contract changes.

Simply enter your email address below, and we’ll let you know when your contract is changed. We promise never to sell your email, it won’t leave this site.

There will be times when we don’t always agree with the carriers on what qualifies as an “ETF Out”. We have a review board that reaches a consensus on when to send one of these emails out. If the carrier responds to our requests for information, we’ll let you know where they stand on if their contract change will let you out of your contract.
